May 2026 Newsletter
Dear Families,
May is a wonderful time of growth, discovery, and connection with the natural world! This month, our classroom will come alive with the themes of flowers, bugs, and gardens. The children will explore the beauty of spring through hands-on Montessori activities that encourage observation, care, and curiosity.
🌸 May Learning & Activities 🌸
We will be learning about the parts of a flower, the life cycles of insects, and the important role that bugs play in our ecosystem. The children will also have opportunities to work with gardening materials, practice planting, and care for living things—fostering both independence and responsibility.
We are especially excited to welcome a special guest, Sandy, Jackson’s grandmother, who will be joining us this month to help the children plant our garden and flowers. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn directly from someone with experience and to take part in creating something beautiful together.
